FlowerTrials^® • 15 - 18 June 2010

In 2002, four companies, Fides, Florema, Royal van Zanten and Selecta-Weststek organised what was then known as the “Pot and Bedding Plant Flower Trials”, which lasted two days. By 2003, five companies were involved, including newcomers Moerheim New Plant / Suntory and Imperial Plants / Danziger, and the decision was made to organise it every year in week 24.

After that, things started moving fast and in 2004 the FlowerTrials^® name and logo were introduced. In 2009, the number of participants had increased to 22 leading Dutch and international companies and the trials were held at different locations in the Aalsmeer and Westland regions. The FlowerTrials^® 2010 lasted four days. In 2010, FlowerTrials^® has been expanded to include a third region: Rheinland-Westfalen in Germany. In total, there are now 31 companies taking part in this successful concept.
